The Reclaimed Mom Story
This platform is about YOU not me but we should probably get acquainted; I will keep this short, sweet, relevant, and to-the-point because well that is the kind of person I am.
My name is Jessica, I live in beautiful Southwest Florida with my husband (aka my high school arch nemesis), our three daughters (including our set of identical twins, pray for me), and our beloved Boston Terrier princess.
My husband and I were born and raised in Michigan. Our parents live 3 miles away from each other in a small town. We are the cliche All-American couple. He was a state champion football player, I was the state champion pom pom girl. We went on to birth three blonde haired blue eyed daughters. It’s kind of embarrassing that we are so basic; essentially an early 2000’s love story. Enemies turned soulmates. Get me my barf bag lol!
Yes, we even went so far as to take the same classes in college and both graduated with Bachelors in Business Administration degrees from the same university.
I am so blessed to have met my person so early in life. We have been pushing and challenging each other since 10th grade. It’s pretty cool to be building a beautiful life together.
I have spent 16 years in sales and marketing; and a decade as a serial entrepreneur.
I quit my job in 2014 to start my first business a freelance Digital Marketing Manager. The next year I joined a direct sales company and rose to the top 1% while pregnant with twins. I absolutely loved that chapter of life, it was straight HUSTLE but it took its toll on me.
By 2017 I was BURNED OUT! I was trying to run multiple six figure businesses, keep my oldest home with me, care for infant twins, and live a little. I definitely WAS NOT making time for adequate nutrition, fitness, rest, or self love.
Instead I was drinking alcohol whenever it felt socially acceptable. Gaining weight. Feeling defeated. Sound familiar?
It was STRESSFUL.
By 2020, thanks to Covid, I made the decision to step away from my business ventures to focus on my family. I needed and deserved that time to not feel pulled in a million different directions.
The problem was, I am a very driven person by nature so I quickly found myself feeling unfulfilled and desiring more for my life.
In the Spring of 2021 I decided to make my first big step towards focusing more on my wellness. I committed to riding my Peloton bike 15 min per day for 30 consecutive days.
I stuck with it and slowly added more minutes.
Next I added in a 3-5 mile daily walk; my most favorite part of my day.
And then in 2023 a HUGE life change began. I decided to step away from alcohol and deep dive into taking my health and wellness very seriously. I fell in love with learning about how the body works. I added strength training 3-5x a week to my routine and watched my body slowly (but also rapidly) transform.
At 40 years old I feel more alive than I did in my 20s.
My stress is basically nonexistent, my aches and pains are gone, my core is strong for the first time in over a decade, I have visible muscle, my cardiovascular health is in excellent condition.
It feels good to feel good!
Now, I want to help others feel like I do.
I have loved my journey so much that I decided to make a new business out of my newfound passion for wellness. I became a Certified Nutrition Coach and Certified Personal Trainer. My big picture goals include becoming a Certified Wellness Coach, Board Certified Functional Medicine Coach, and finally after a decade of people telling me I should do it; a LIFE COACH.
I have been a virtual student aka fan of people like Tony Robbins, Ed Mylett, Mel Robbins and other amazing life coaches for years. Their wisdom has transformed my mindset.
Nothing would make me more happy in life than to leverage ALL of my skills, experiences, passions, strengths, failures, and triumphs to help other people establish the productive daily habits they need to create a health forward life that they love.
I have a gift for tough loving people to their potential; it is time for me to share that gift with the mom community.
I KNOW that if you trust me, allow me to coach you in one way or another, and you commit to the work; YOU WILL start to achieve your goals.
How do I know? Because I am a love to win person; I will not let you quit on you without a little tough love encouragement.
Ok that wasn’t as short as I intended BUT I hope it helps you understand me and my heart a little more.
I am in your corner; I want to help YOU win with your wellness.
All the Best,
Coach Jessica
